OnePlus, as usual, listens to its fan base and introduces seven new features
Anno 2020, OnePlus is among the bigger guys in the smartphone world. This is due on the one hand to the good devices it produces and on the other hand to the fanatical community behind the brand. Something that OnePlus is clearly aware of and therefore makes grateful use of.
Many times OnePlus has listened carefully to its fan base, which is obviously a smart move. By fulfilling consumers' wishes, you naturally achieve a satisfied community that also feels heard. This has paid off so often that OnePlus has done it again. Indeed, in September, the company asked its community for new ideas for the Oxygen OS, the devices' operating system. The winners of these ideas to be implemented were announced Nov. 18. They were announced, as always, on OnePlus' official forum. When exactly these new features will be implemented is not yet known. They are the following seven features:
- Dual-media playback and a separate volume control for each app
- The ability to customize the lock screen
- Option to activate an FPS meter in the Game Space
- Dark mode in black instead of gray
- Wireless file sharing between PC and OnePlus devices, and vice versa
- Option to take partial screenshots
- Power Diet, an extreme saving mode to get longer with your battery
There are also ideas that did not make it to the official rollout, these too were announced on the same forum.
