Apple is testing out a new iOS feature that includes unnoticed security updates

The American company Apple is testing a new feature. This new feature would no longer require a full iOS update to close a security hole. Thus, security updates are installed quickly and unnoticed, the user does not notice anything. This allows Apple to keep smaller fixes unnoticed. Read more about this handy news here soon.

Apple security vulnerabilities

Anyone who has an iPhone or other Apple device knows it; Apple regularly calls to install the very latest updates to iOs, iPadOS or macOS as soon as possible because of a new leak discovered in the systems. These leaks can be exploited, causing many Apple users to install an update as soon as possible.

However, not everyone does, making these devices very vulnerable to hackers or malware, for example. This may now be solved with this new feature. Apple has developed Rapid Security Response, which automatically downloads and installs small repair files without the consumer noticing or having to do anything. A new leak is thus repaired automatically and totally unnoticed!

Apple has already installed test update

The feature has already been tested by Apple among consumers who have installed the third beta version of the upcoming iOS 16.2. These test users were notified that such a fast update was ready for them. However, this was a test, according to 9to5Mac. The intention should be that some fixes will thus soon be installed without notification, however, some updates will still require the device to restart, but will not require a longer installation time of a full iOS update. Normally, the feature for these types of updates is already turned on in the general settings of iOS, iPadOS and macOS. Even if consumers were to turn off the feature, Apple can still plug some leaks undetected.

What do you think of this development? Safe or perhaps weird that Apple can change things undetected? In any case, here you can find our range in Apple products!
